Abcore has developed multiple naïve antibody libraries that are available for panning. These naïve phage libraries are good when a target is difficult to use as an immunogen (toxic, dangerous, etc.). They are also good for animals that are very difficult to do an immunization with, like sharks and camels. Also, they offer the chance to get results more quickly, not having to wait for a lengthy immunization.
Currently, Abcore has the following naïve antibody libraries for panning or in development:
- Naïve Llama Nanobody Phage Library
- Naïve Alpaca Nanobody Phage Library
- Naïve Camel Nanobody Phage Library
- Naïve Shark IgNAR Phage Library
- Naïve Rabbit ScFv Phage Library
Abcore’s proprietary llama and alpaca nanobody phage library has been used quite frequently, is made using naïve PMBCs from 48 animals, and has been used to isolate functional nanobodies. We are currently finishing final QC of the camel, shark, and rabbit libraries. If you are interested in these libraries or would like information before published here, please let us know.
